Olivia and I went to Oktoberfest at a local nursery and had such a great time! She was more interested in the bouncy castle than anything else. My mom is coming next week so we are getting really excited for grandma to come visit!

So here are some photo's of our awesome summer! We took a trip to Fargo to visit my parents and Hannah had decided that she wanted some girl cousin bonding time so she spent the week with us! It was so cute to watch her and Olivia play together. They had the best time! We went to the lake and Olivia has been talking about driving the boat since. Can't wait for our next trip!

I also got Olivia a big girl bed and she transitioned like a pro. She is getting so big.. sad but fun times!

We also took Olivia to the beach which was a huge success. She was not so sure about the ocean at first but as the day wore on she was all about it!

We had such a great time with my parents! They were a breath of fresh air for me! I miss them and can't wait to see all my family over Christmas! Olivia really interacted with them which was so cute! Now she has them wrapped around her finger even more... evidence was the trip to FAO Schwarz!!

We took Olivia to Oktoberfest at a local nursery and she loved it! Getting a mini pumpkin was her favorite part and sucking on the free dirty water bottle came in a close second!

We said good by to our best friends October 1st.. It was a sad day for all of us! Olivia and Owen were such good buddies as were Stephanie and I. We will miss them so much! Now we have a place to stay when we go to Disney!!

We took Olivia to Please Touch, a childrens museum in Philly and she had such a great time! It was on the the best childrens museums that I have been to! If anyone comes to Philly with kids I would recommend visiting it!

She has also started Little Gym once a week and she just is all smiles the second we walk in the door!

Olivia is the best thing that has happend to me and will continue to give me strength thru this incredibly difficult time! Please pray for both of us!!

Here are some of the pictures of Olivia's birthday. There is no cake smashing picture because she was sick... However last weekend we went to another party and she went to town on the cupcake. I will find the picture and post it, it's so funny!!

Well we made it a whole year!! I can't believe that it has been a year already. It seems like yesterday that Dave and I went to the hospital. She has changed so much over the past year!! She has 8 teeth, she can walk so good and she has developed this little personality. Her funny little facial expressions are to die for!

Dave says that she is going to have the same "temper" as me... We are in for a ride if that's the case!

She has brought such joy into our lives and I can't imagine my life without her!!!

Heat Wave!

We have been in the middle of a major heat wave the past 4 days. It has been 90+ and we are lovin' it! We bought Olivia a little pool and she loves it even though the water is a bit chilly... We had to add a few pots of boiling water to the mix and leave it out in the sun for a few hours to warm it up!

Not only has Olivia mastered crawling, she has started to walk behind her doll pusher. I can't believe it! We may have an early walker on on hands....This is Olivia's new trick. The minute she wakes up, or is unhappy with the situation in her crib, she stands up and shakes the crib until you come in. It is very cute to see her little face peeking over the rail!

Olivia has taken quite a liking to baby dolls. She received this one from Great Grandma Russum and she loves to give it kisses (licking and biting the face)!

Hello everybody! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends! We had a great time! Dave's parents and Aunt Elise from Scotland, came down for a few days. They cooked a huge Christmas Day dinner (I was in bed with the flu). The extra hands were greatly appreciated as I was very sick. Olivia provided hours of entertainment and laughs.. She has developed quite the personality!

Hannah is so cute with Olivia and Josiah was always willing to push her in the walker, even if it was into the door! Don't worry it's just the flash on my camera that makes her hemangioma appear black. She had her 3rd laser treatment today and the Dr. seems to think that it is working (not getting bigger). I can't tell, maybe because I see her everyday. Oh well she is still the cutest baby ever!!!
Maddie and Sophie came for the weekend. They just love Olivia and are very willing to play with her! She just watches every move they make, it's very cute!

Ok so I have to explain the huge t-shirt that Olivia is wearing. SHe had an explosion in her diaper as we are going thru security and I decided to wait until we got to the gate to change her.. big mistake! Poop all over her outfit and I forgot to pack an extra in her diaper bag so Dave went and bought a I Love NY t-shirt and wore that until we got to MPLS and we went and bought a new outfit.. Other than that she was perfect on her first plane ride!!!

Well we finally moved into our beautiful new house!! We rented the biggest U Haul and still didn't have enough room for everything. I was beginning to feel like a horder. The bags to go to Good Will are multiplying hourly!!

This is the best thing since sliced bread!! It truly works and fast! Olivia went from crying for 5-6 hours at a time to maybe an hour!!! We now have a much happier baby and happier parents!!!

Well we went to Rhode Island this weekend for a wedding. This was one of the 1st stops along the way to feed Olivia and we realized that she needs about 30 min before getting back in the car seat.. We put her in her seat only to stop at the next exit about 3 minutes away.... Dave had to rock her to sleep in the back before we left. I think that she may be a little spoiled:) Aren't you supposed to do that with your first anyway??!!

Well Grandma Gail has been here for the past week and let me tell you what a help she has been! We were able to go out for dinner which is now going to be a thing of the past! I was able to take a shower and actually have time to shave my legs! She also doubled as our night nurse. We are fully rested so being up all night won't seem so bad. Now dave and I are back to reality....

ok so the hair dryer is just about the only thing that will calm her down when she is freaking out. It doesn't put her to sleep but she loves it! We learned this trick from The Happiest Baby on the Block..... the dvd is amazing!

Well May 1st has offically come and gone and there is no baby... It is a little depressing when that happens but the Dr. gave me till May 6 to do it on my own. If that doesn't happen I will be induced next Wednesday...

We have been doing EVERYTHING to bring on some labor... I guess she will make her grand appearance when she is ready!
Pretty sure that the novelity of being pregnant has worn off...

So the Dr. told me today that she is guessing that the baby is going to weigh in around the high 7's.... That is very scary!!!

I'm 1.5 cm dilated. I have finished working and now have started to "nest". As best as one can nest in a 1 bedroom apartment!

We are patiently waiting her arrival! As patient as I can be I guess. It's not one of my stronger qualities.....
